CHARITY
EVENT
As BAC Hospitality class we were to organise
and plan a charity event for a Francistown Senior School student who was in
needy of clothing, stationary, transport fee and food under the vision 2016 of
“just caring and compassionate nation”. Typically in organizing such event takes certain
aspects to consider.
CORPORATE
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
According to (Wuncharoen,2013) states that CSR
is defined as encompassing an organization’s responsibility to its community
and the environment as well as to its stakeholders or the management of a
company’s positive impact on society and the environment through its
operations, products or services and through its interaction with key Stakeholders
such as employees, customers, investors and suppliers (Business in the
Community 2015), above all definitions means CSR is giving back to the
community. As a class we contributed some money and ask for clothes donations
from other class. The money that was contributed was used to buy stationary and
a lamp so that she could study at night. The community elders (chief and
pastors) were invited to notify the event
